Thoughts......






Sometimes I get these feelings, feelings that I can't explain. They come on suddenly and I don't know why. Like right now for instance, all of the sudden I have this overwhelming feeling of sadness. I didn't see anything sad, I haven't heard anything sad and I wasn't thinking sad thoughts.  It isn't always sadness that I feel either, I have had a flash wave of different emotion at one time or another anger, frustration, fear.......discomfort. They always come out of the blue. Most of the time I react without thinking about why I am feel that way but then there are days like today when I am just being still and an emotion washes over me and I am suddenly puzzled on top of the other emotion. 


Where does it come from and why? My thoughts are that I am feel these emotions for/from someone else. Let me explain. I think that the feeling actually come from the Holy Spirit. I think they are transferred from someone else that is experiencing intense emotions. When I am feeling calm and can realize that they aren't truly my emotions ( I have no explanation as to why I might be feeling that way) I often feel a prompting to pray too. 


I don't know if it someone that I know going through something or if it is a stranger that is struggling with something but I try to follow God's leading and pray through the emotions that I am feeling.

Romans 8:28                         I am assured that all things work together for good.          

Romans 8:31-34                   I am free from any condemning charges against me.

Romans 8:35-39                   I cannot be separated from the love of God.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22          I have been established, anointed, and sealed by God.

Colossians 3:3                      I am hidden with Christ in God.

Philippians 1:6                    I am confident that the good work that God has begun in me will be perfected.

Philippians 3:20                   I am a citizen of heaven.

2 Timothy 1:7                       I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.

Hebrews 4:16                       I can find grace and mercy in time of need.

1 John 5:18                           I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me.

In Christ I am Significant:

Matthew 5:13                       I am the salt and light of the earth.

John 15:1,5                           I am a branch of die true vine, a channel of His life.

John 15:16                            I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit.

Acts 1:8                                 I am Christ's personal witness.

1 Corinthians 3:16                I am God's temple.

2 Corinthians 5:17-20           I am a minister of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 6:1                  I am God's coworker.

Ephesians 2:6                       I am seated with Christ in the heavenly realm.

Ephesians 2:10                     I am God's workmanship.

Ephesians 3:12                     I may approach God with freedom and confidence.

Philippians 4:13                   I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I am so thankful that God see more in me then I ever could but with his grace I am starting to see more in me every day!

found the lost

*ha so this was suppose to be posted ages ago but like the things in the post this was apparently also lost and has been found!



So we have this bank envelope that we keep all the kids birth certificates, ss cards, our passports and marriage certificate (among other important papers) in. We brought it on our trip to Canada to have what we thought we needed to get their Canadian status opened (didn't get that done because of the circles you have to navigate through in the government but that's another post for another day). I realized a little over a week ago or so that I hadn't seen the envelope in a while. come to think of it I couldn't remember seeing it since we got home. The last place I can actually remember having it in mt hands was crossing the border back in to the USA. places it could have been lost between here and there included a rental car, air port, restaurant gas station..... I have stayed awake nights thinking about how I had lost my kids identities and what a head ach this could potentially be for them for years and years to come. It is with a grateful/thankful heart I can say God answered my prayers with a 'here you go my child'.  I called twice to report the passports lost today and kept hanging up because I just 'knew' they would appear!

Fonda Masterson's Chocolate chip cookies

This is the last chocolate chip cookie recipe that I will ever use!

*To start preheat oven to 375 degrees.

*Cream together 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 white sugar and 1 cup butter (2 sticks), 1 small box vanilla instant pudding (sugar free makes fluffy cookie while regular makes flatter cookies, both are yummy) & 1 tsp vanilla.

 *Get an adorable helper to crack 2 eggs.

*blend eggs into sugar mixture.

 *add 2 &1/4 cups flour, 1tsp baking soda

 *stir in 1/2 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips.

 *drop by the spoonful onto cookie sheet and bake 9-11 minutes.

Recipe will make about 2 DOZEN cookies depending on the size. They are a soft cookie unless you over bake them then they will be more crunchy, you chose!

Strawberry Lemon aid

For one very tall glass of strawberry lemon aid:

*Melt 1/3 sugar in 1 cup of water to create a syrup.
*mix syrup with 1/2 lemon juice and 1 & 1/3 cup water
*add 3 chopped (or sliced) strawberries
*pour over ice, stir and enjoy!!!

WOW I have 3 kids!!

So Drew was born on 11-11-11 how cool is that!? All my kids have neat birthdays I think, Alexis is 5-25 Leah is 3-23 and now Drew is 11-11. We are still doing cloth diapers! They are not nearly scary as I thought they would be!
