Thank the good Lord it's Friday!!!

SOOOO thankful; that it is Friday! Andrew has been gone since Sunday morning, he will be home sometime tomorrow evening YEAHHHH!!!!

We went to Color Me Mine On Monday
























Tuesday we had some friends over to play.

Wednesday we went to lunch with Grandma Donna

Yesterday (Thursday)we went to Hope for the Women's Bible study Jonah -Navigating a life Interrupted! What a wonderful study! God is teaching me so many things I can apply right now to my life it is awesome!

This evening we are going to swim at a friend's house!!!

Tomorrow we are going to Sweet Cheeks for a Fluff Sale!!!

Then perhaps back to Color Me Mine to pick up our pottery pieces!!!! I will post more pictures of what they look like after they are fired.

And the best thing of all, a great way to end the week ANDREW COMES HOME!!!! Sometime Saturday evening. We are all extremely excited to have him home safe and sound with us!

Ups and Down

I don't think I have ever experienced so many emotions in my life. Not even when things seemed to be going wrong with everything or when everything was falling into place. Most days I experience so many ups and downs I don't know if I am coming or going one of the wonderful sides of changing hormones during pregnancy. I am thankful that I have a wonderful husband that somehow manages to live with me and try to help me feel like I am sane!

on another note....I think I am totally getting obsessed with cloth diapers! I don't know how many blogs I follow, pages I "liked" and contests I have entered! I am 100% on board with using cloth diapers for Trey (we haven't' decided what we are going to call him as a nick name but since I like Trey I thought I would try it out for a while and see how it sits). I added 2 more cd to my collection yesterday. They are Sunbaby brand.



I have also started a project for Trey I am crocheting a onesie for him. I haven't ever made anything that involves pieces so I am excited to see how it turns out. http://www.bhg.com/crafts/knitting/clothing/baby-boy-onesie/?page=2
I am down sizing it a bit so he can wear it a little sooner. With my luck he will probably get to wear it for a day and then be to big for it! I am making it all brown because that is what I had on hand.

Spoils

Wow so a week ago Friday I won 2 Tickets to Rock River Rapids in Derby KS. Alexis , Leah and I went and had a blast! We were there for almost 3 hours. Andrew had to work so he wasn't able to come. The tickets were from 90.7 Way FM!!!!

Then today I see I won some clippies from Ribbies Clippies!!! Right after seeing that I checked my email and see I won Tickets to the screening of Captain America!!! Sometimes things just seem to work out really well!

Yesterday I went and picked up our first 3 cloth diapers from Healthy Baby Boutique. They are awesome!



I got all three for $25.48 tax included. They each came with 2 liners as well. The brand is KaWii. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Sunbabies Diaper then I will get a couple of those and see how they work.

We decided that since we were out of Pull-ups we would take the money to buyu pullup and buy some cloth diapers. So Leah gets to test them out before the baby comes! She loved the one she wore last night.

Healthy Children

My goal as a mother is to above all introduce my children to THE loving God I serve. I want them to not just know Him and believe in Him but to really KNOW Him and to LOVE Him. I believe that as long as they can develop a healthy relationship with Him they will have fulfilled their Role for this life and all the others things are just gravy.

As a secondary thing I want my children to be healthy. I want to them to be able to thrive in this world. When I look around at first glance it all looks good until we really look at things, that's when I tend to freak out just a bit.

maybe a new tradition...

Well it has been over a year again since I posted last. Maybe I will try and get better about blogging.

Lets see a year has gone by, Alexis has finished her second year of preschool. Leah is 3 and going to start preschool in the fall just not sure where yet. Andrew has changed jobs and is now working for Alplundh tree trimming.

We are going to have another baby! Found out yesterday we are going to have a little boy this time! I am excited an nervous.

We are going to use cloth diapers with this one so that will be an addition to the adventure of having a boy!
