September 15th, 2008

OK so Saturday was our moving day and it was busy! The few people that were going to come help us move (all but one of them) had some unexpected emergencies to deal with. We ended up with one guy come over and help us finish packing and move. At about 3pm he decided to call a friend and see if he was able to help us move. He did end up coming over and we got all the heavy furniture moved with the moving truck. We ended up going back to the apartment and took another load of stuff.
Sunday started out with Greg and I going to get another load of stuff and then we headed to church. After church Andrew and I went back to the apartment and took another load of stuff to storage. I went back to clean the apartment after that. It was really nice I got to sit down and visit with Mike one last time before the boys came back from youth group. I also had a chance to hang out with 2 of the boys while they were waiting for supper. It was nice to get some closure with them. One of them made the comment that I hadn't gone to any of their football games yet and when I said that I would go to some he smiled (this came from the one I least expected it to).
We have all out stuff at Greg & Regina's but now comes the next task of getting it all put away! Andrew started his new job today and I hope that he is doing alright.
Life for us is crazy right now, we still don't know what the next step is for our family so please keep us in prayer. Thanks!

September 12th 2008

Well today is our last day with Youth Horizons. Tonight I will probably spend most of the night packing and getting things ready for tomorrow. Andrew has already take a bunch of boxes into storage already. Tonight we are taking some things over to the Hittmans. The girls are going to spend the night there tonight without us and then we will be there starting tomorrow!

September 10th 2008

Well Andrew had an interview with Butler county jail today and God seemingly closed that door. IT pays less then what he would make at JRF and ht would have to work 12 hour shifts and it switches back and forth between day and night every 6 months. Oh also there is mandatory overtime, if you get called in to work you have to go or you are fired! So........JRF it is for the time being. Andrew starts work Monday afternoon at 2:30 pm.

We are looking to buy a house somewhere in the area. We don't want to move into an apartment again, we just feel like we would be throwing money away with renting. We are looking at auction sites to see if maybe we can find a good deal that way.

We are full force into packing today. I had some awesome friends come over and help me out. They got all my girl's clothes sorted out and we got almost all of the kitchen packed up. Of course we had to take a packing break and the girls helped relieve us with their laughing at each other. Then when the packing was all done we had to go and replenish ourselves by going to get some nourishment. We decided Cici's was the best idea.I have to say that I think Alexis thought it was a good idea too! I have another friend coming over tomorrow night to help me pack some more and get some of her laundry done!

God is SO awesome! I can't believe how much he watches out for us. It is amazing how he places people in our live at the right time. I am so blessed to have the friends that he has given me and I am truly thankful for the family that he has placed me in, not just my immediate family but my church family as well.

YEAH GOD!!

September 7th 2008

Alexis got to ride Buckshot this Sunday. It's amazing there was a time where she wouldn't even want to look at a horse. I didn't think that we would ever get her on one!

September 9th 2008

OK so tomorrow is the big day I am suppose to get most of the packing done but here is the catch we only have like 5 boxes left to pack and have barely started packing!!!! I procrastinated too long and didn't get enough boxes saved and I DO NOT want to have to buy boxes. Andrew is out at Wal-mart right now trying to get boxes. he called them and they told him to come and get them as they are stocking shelves. I hope that he can get enough and doesn't get frustrated with having to do that so late.
Tomorrow he is suppose to go and get his schedule for his new job at JRF and then goes for an interview at Butler county jail. We'll see which one he ends up working at.
We are still trying to figure out what we are going to do as far as living arrangements. Staying with the Hittmans is only temporary.......

Well we got a storage unit today. it is 10x15 and it looks so tiny! I am not sure how we are going to get everything in. Andrew says that we can do it but we'll see. We took a few boxes over today. They had been packed from our last move. Then he took another load of boxes tonight that I packed today but I still don't know who we are going to get it all done.

September 6th 2008

OK I have started this blog I don't know if anyone will end up reading it other then family and that is OK. I also don't have any idea as to how often I will keep this updated but I will try to do it often.

Currently we are in a major life changing time for our family. We are leaving our current jobs and therefor having to move our residence. We are going to be moving in with some friends for a while till we get some details figured out. We are going to put our stuff in storage for a while.

Our last working day in our current job is September 12Th. our moving day is September 13Th and Andrew's first day at his new job is September 15Th. I have a couple different job ideas lined up. I have contacted a past employer (Bath and Body Works) and may go back and work at floor sets. I also have been thinking about getting my CDL so that I could maybe drive a school bus (great idea because I can take my girls with me). The other possibility I have (I think is the most interesting and exciting) is to be a booking agent for a motivational speaker. I am going to meet with the speaker in about a week or two to go over things (since I have no idea where to start to be a booking agent).

The girls are doing well. I am going to do some bragging so if you don't want to hear it skip this section! ;) Alexis is so smart! She can count to 10 in French & Spanish and almost to 20 in English. She loves to watch Dora and Diego and have been picking up Spanish by watching them. I have been trying to get her to watch shows in french the past few day to get her interested in french as well. She also knows a bunch of her colors ad shapes too! She adores her little sister and helps me out a bunch around the house with chores like dishes and putting clothes in the washer and dryer! She will go as far as saying "NO MOMMY, me do it!". It's so cute! We are working at potty training. It is amazing how one day I think that she has it down cold then the very next day she seems to go constantly in her panties!!!! Leah is eating solids (well kinda). She loves to get something other then milk. I add cereal to her green beans because they are so runny. She love to eat!! She has so many rolls it is cute! I think that she is getting ready to grow because she always seems hungry! She has been reaching for things to play with more and loves her big sister. She will laugh so hard at the faces and sound Alexis makes for her she do that stop breathing laugh!

Well I guess that's all for tonight this is long enough I will try to write more soon!
